Hey hey friends! I am Glenalyn, the female leader for Guatemala. I am so excited to be leading this trip.

I was born in Pleasanton, CA and lived there my whole life until I went to college at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. I grew up in the church but it wasn’t until college that I made my faith my own, through being involved in on-campus ministries and seeing God move in awesome ways throughout my college years. I finally surrendered my WHOLE life to the Lord in January 2008 and saw God move in great ways. I began to understand the freedom that comes with this surrender and since then it has been a crazy, international adventure, ranging from the redwood forest in California to Amsterdam, Holland, to  Kenya to circumnavigating the globe on the World Race in 2010 to leading a high school aged trip to Peru this last month. Seriously God has given me my dreams of traveling and reaching people for Christ. He is so good like that.

Since returning from the race, God has laid the up and coming generation on my heart—to see you guys awakened in your God-given identities, walking in freedom and in truth, and living your life sold out for Christ.

-I love ice cream and frozen yogurt.

-My favorite TV shows are Bones, Glee, Psych, and White Collar. I also enjoy NCIS.

-I have an annual pass to Disneyland.

-My high school group of friends is still referred to as the Lunch Bunch 8 years later. J

-I have been to more countries than US states.
