Hello! My name is Emily! I saw there is already one Emily, so this is going to be double the fun! I am from Loveland, Colorado!!! That is about an hour from Denver and 15 min from Fort Collins, Co.
I am currently going to school in Greeley, Co working on finishing up my general Eds. At a college in the area.. And I still have no major. I did my first year in Denver and Metro State College as a criminal justice major. I decided that field wasnโt for me. I came back home and commute to school in Greeley. I am nearly finished with my general classes. Which means- CRUNCH TIME!
I work at First National Bank; it is a sector of First National Bank of Omaha. I have been working at the bank for almost a year now and it is not to bad of a job. I also work at the nursery of my church, which I totally dig!
I love long boarding, hiking, riding motorcycles, boating, snowboarding (all very Colorado-y). I also love shopping (it has been a struggle for me because I am saving all my pennies for Guatemala). I played tennis and golfed in High School. I still like to hit balls at the driving range every so often. I was a competitive cheerleader and was in gymnastics for as long as I can remember. I taught cheerleading and gymnastics at the rec center for quite awhile as well! I have two best friends which I love dearly, Shelbie and Shelby. I love, love hanging out with them!!! I don't have a lot of down time since I'm usually at work from 8 to 6 but when I do I like to be outside!ย As from my likes and dislikes... I love shoes, avocados, laughing, talking, and my family. I don't like to read very much, allergies, or peas... haha!
I have never been out of the country. Which is really weird because both my parents were in the military when I was growing up. I am excited for a new adventure.
God has worked wonders in my short little life. I full heartedly think this is where God wants me to be. I have been looking for something to give me more of God/myself and I think this trip will do just that. I am not very nervous for much... I am ready to go open-minded and see Gods work being done. BASICALLY I COULDN'T BE MORE EXCITED TO SPRED GOD'S LOVE AND GROW SPRITUALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND (HOPEFULLY PHYSICALLY ;))
I cant wait to meet all of you, even though I am lovin the bios, real life is much better than the computer!
